A public hearing on the budget for the Port of Portland for the fiscal year 2022-23, in the total amount of $2,870,821,908 will be held by the Multnomah County Tax Supervising and Conservation Commission at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday June 8, 2022.

The meeting will be in-person at Port of Portland Headquarters Building, 7200 NE Airport Way, Portland, Oregon, 8th floor Chinook Room and will be streamed live on the Port’s website ( and YouTube channel ( The meeting will also be held virtually for those Commissioners, members of the public, presenters and staff unable to attend in person.

The deadline to sign up for live testimony via MS Teams is noon on the day prior to the Port of Portland Commission Meeting.  

Taxes levied will be at the Measure 50 established permanent rate of $0.0701 per $1,000 (levy amount is estimated at$15,650,473). There will be no tax levy for the Debt Service Fund in fiscal year 2022-23. The fiscal year 2021-22 tax amount certified by county tax assessors was $14,941,093, which was the total amount of taxes levied for the fiscal year 2021-22. The estimated increase in taxes levied from fiscal year 2021-2022 to 2022-2023 is $709,380. Any interested citizen may discuss any part of the budget at the hearing.
